Indoor Sauna & Wellness Space Consultation Process

Transforming an indoor space—whether it's a basement, back porch, or spare office—into a sauna or wellness retreat is a thoughtful process that starts with a solid plan. Here’s what to expect when you work with us:

1. Site Visit & Initial Consultation

We begin with an on-site visit to understand your vision and evaluate the space. We'll:

• Assess the area for size, layout, and accessibility
• Review electrical access and ventilation requirements
• Take detailed measurements
• Discuss your goals, preferences, and how you plan to use the space
• Talk through design inspirations, materials, and finishes

2. Design & Layout Planning

Based on the site visit, we’ll create a custom layout that works for your space and style. This includes:

• Floor plan and orientation of the sauna or wellness features (sauna, cold plunge, hot tub, etc.)
• Material selections (cedar, pine, aspen, spruce, etc.)
• Door and window placements
• Electrical layout and lighting
• Integration with existing HVAC or new ventilation solutions

3. Estimate & Timeline

We’ll provide you with a detailed estimate, including materials, labor, and any custom features. You’ll also receive a project timeline, outlining key phases and milestones.

4. Permits & Prep Work

If permits are needed (depending on your jurisdiction), we’ll guide you through that process or coordinate with your contractor. We'll also identify any prep work required—like clearing the space, electrical upgrades, or framing adjustments.

5. Build & Installation

Our team gets to work bringing the vision to life. This includes:

• Framing (if needed)
• Electrical and ventilation setup
• Sauna installation and sealing
• Finish work (benches, heaters, lighting, controls)
• Wellness space features (like cold plunge tubs, aromatherapy diffusers, etc.)

6. Final Walkthrough & Instructions

Once complete, we’ll do a final walkthrough together to ensure everything is perfect. We’ll show you how to use and maintain your sauna and wellness equipment, and answer any final questions.

7. Ongoing Support

We’re here for you even after the build. Whether it’s routine maintenance, upgrades, or accessories, we offer ongoing support to keep your wellness space in top shape.
